Chapter 50 Commander Burleigh Soape is shown below with Congressman Steve Scalise at a Town Hall Meeting in Amite, LA in August 2008. The meeting was held at the Tangipahoa Parish Council Chambers, its purpose to discuss veterans' issues and other economic issues. Representative Scalise autographed the photo to Commander Soape and expressed his thanks and appreciation for his services and others on behalf of our nation's veterans.
