State Veterans Cemeteries
Northwest Louisiana Veterans Cemetery (NLVC) was the first state veterans cemetery developed in Louisiana. The cemetery provides interment for veterans and their dependents in a dignified and compassionate manner, commemorating their service to our nation. It also serves as a cemetery for active duty soldiers and their dependents.

Opened in February 2012, CLVC was the second state veterans cemetery developed in Louisiana. CLVC is located in Leesville in Vernon parish, adjacent to Fort Polk.
