| Chapter 5 Fundraiser Offers Personal Alarms For Vets |
Chapter 5 of the DAV has started a project called “PERS 4 VETS” to provide Personal Emergency Response Systems (PERS) for elderly and disabled veterans free of charge. They will be raising money for this project through donations, fund raisers, corporate sponsors and grants. Chapter 5 has negotiated a special monitoring rate for 1000+ units to be monitored. They are looking for veterans that need this service. If you would like a PERS unit or if you know a veteran that needs this system, please go to www.davchapter5.org and fill out the contact information form under the ‘PERS 4 Vets’ tab.
